There is some discussion going around the internet which suggests that the right way to react to fascism is to worry and wait. History does not confirm this.
Some confrontation is now unavoidable, and it is in everyone’s interest to keep it civil. The best means with which to confront an oligarchy are financial. That means, boycotts and strikes. This requires preparation and organisation; this is something you can learn about and participate in now.
Social Media Campaign
We provide original content in terms of essays, quotes, and sharepics. We also boost important news stories that might otherwise not become well-known. Boycott news, in particular, is highlighted.

Activism Education

The Activersity curriculum is based on modules covering activism philosophy, history of activism, group decision-making, fund-raising, and more. Beyond lectures, students have access to articles, videos, and podcasts. Writing assignments encourage students to explore beyond the presented material.
Our Residence program entails fellowships which include room-and-board in the Schwaz10 building, are available for students who wish to develop practical skills by working on a real project under the aegis of the Activersity.
We Teach How to Raise Funds
One of the many things you can do as a scholarship holder at Activersity is to learn how to raise funds through a variety of means, while having the time to do it, without worrying about your food and lodging costs, counting on our knowledge, support and large customer and fan base.

We Promote Community

You did not choose your neighbors. The only reason they are your neighbors is that some agent of capitalism chose them because they were suitable for capitalism. Community was no priority in this process.
We host events like “Open Box Day,” Kitchen-for-All, Clothes Swaps, and the like. Host with us, learn from us, or copy our projects in your neighborhood.
Pizza Lab Is A Community Space
Pizza Lab is a vegan pizzeria entirely run by volunteers. The restaurant is a registered commercial entity owned by the Activersity NGO. Profits fund the Activersity as well as occasional grants to sustainability projects in the neighborhood.

We Invented the Task Auction

For any living community, how chores are distributed/performed is a source of friction. How do we know that everyone is doing a fair share of the work? Who gets assigned which tasks? Who decides what is fair?
The “Task Auction” and the “Wahlbörse” were conceived as a single system to answer these questions while providing maximum flexibility and transparency.
Ukraine: The Birthplace of the Activersity

In the first few weeks of the war in Ukraine, NGOs like the Red Cross caught by surprise and were not in place. All humanitarian work was being done by volunteers. We arrived at the start of the second week. We were occupied with taking medical supplies from Poland into Ukraine. Once these were delivered at a secret depot, we went to the Lviv’s main train station, which was flooded with refugees who had no means of crossing the border into the EU. We brought as many as we could to the border, which was often a night-long process. We distributed hot drinks to people unlucky enough to have to wait outside.
Once international NGOs had set up operations, we returned to the EU. This experience would later turn out to be the birth of the Activersity Project.
We Are Independent
If you don’t control your housing, you are playing by the rules of whomever does. For the most part, this means you must have a job to afford rent, or in other words, you must serve capitalism to fund capitalism. You may only indirectly work toward the world you want — and in a way that does not seriously trouble capitalism.
The schwarz10 house has provided its residents a means of pursuing change. When we found the house, it had been abandoned for 15 years.
