Reservation Fee
Once you have been offered a fellowship, you must reserve your stay by paying a 300 € reservation fee. This is to be returned to you in full at the end of your stay. The reason for the reservation fee is that the Activersity must pay rent for your room regardless of whether you show up, yet it may only book the expense if there is a student. The reservation fee guarantees that the Activersity has either a student or the rent money.
The details of the payment shall be provided to you at the time of the awarding of the fellowship.
Personal Budget
The following items must be bought on your personal budget:
- soft drinks and alcohol
- fast-food and candy
- personal hygiene items like shampoo, tooth paste etc.
- meat and cheese
- outings
- transportation to, from, and within Leipzig
- health insurance
