Your Costs

Commitment fees

If you are granted a stipend, you will pay two commitment fees, one of which is a deposit that you will get back if you decide to leave the project early. The commitment fees are necessary to ensure that you stay committed to the program, despite it being offered for free, that you take the program seriously, and to avoid last-minute cancellations. If you need a reduction of this fee due to your financial situation, please apply for a second grant separately.

  1. Registration fee of 100 €. If you need a reduction of this fee due to your financial situation, please apply for it naming your reasons and providing evidence where appropriate.
  2. Deposit fee 600 € for the first two weeks, 400 € for any other extension of two more weeks. This deposit fee is reduced by 50 % if you complete the Student Program before your arrival (not possible yet, as the curriculum is not fully uploaded yet). We will return 100% of your deposit if you finish your study, turn in all your assignments, no matter if you graduate or not (up to two weeks after you turn in your final assignment). We will keep 80% of the total of your deposit (which depends on the length of stay) if you decide to leave after your mid-term, and we keep 50% if you decide to leave before your mid-term. Of course, there will be a binding contract that requires us to return this fee, or percentages thereof, respectively, in case you finish your residency.
